Beyond the music, my favorite things about Syd are her openness about her sexuality as a lesbian and desire to be a “'A Pioneer' For Queer Women.“

Syd, your involvement with Odd Future drew me in but your individual talent combined with the dope ass band that is The Internet made me a lifelong fan and a follower. The fact that you’re only 26 amazes me and I look forward to whatever art you put into the world in the future. The LGBTQIA community is fortunate to have you as a proud and intentional representative for them in the music industry. Keep being your dope self!
